Why do people take photographs and why is it important?
People take photographs to capture moments that somone may want to keep forever and also art that they see around them and some may manipulate. Photography is really important as it is a main process of being able to capture moments that someone cannot re-live and also present ideas and art to be free when taking a photograph.

what skills do you need to be a good photographer?
You would have to be able to use a camera, or phone so that you can take a photo, and i could also list about the different concepts such as lighting and focusing the camera, however i feel that photography is different in every persons eyes, and everyone views things differently meaning there are no set skills to creativity apart from an open mind. How does photography help us see the world?
Everyone sees things differently in their own eyes, meaning a picture is one persons view of a certain moment and all the details are captured through the artists eyes. However anyone and everyone can interpret a picture in their own way.
Can photographic images be trusted?
Some can, as some people just cleary capture the moment for themselves as a memory and dont alter it. However, when looking at the bigger picture no photo is actually 100% accurate seeing as in our society we are made to believe photographs are reliable (e.g.,in a magazine). This is because it is more direct when taking a photo then having a painting, as when the light is shone onto an object or model, it bounces of that person or object and into the artists eyes and the camera too. Therefore a picture seems more direct as a camera captures the real details, however we all know pictures are not actually that accurate as they can be edited or adjusted (e.g. brightness) and inside the camera the picture is adjusted to come out well as its a technical piece of equipment.

Where is the best place to see photographs?
There are many places to view photographs and in many formats, such as magazines, newspapers and many places online etc, however i personally think that exhibitions are the best ways of seeing photography pieces. This is becasue an exhibition allows the artist/photographer to diplay the image in whatever size, frame, material wanted. This allows us to see all the extra fine details of the image allowing a wider interpretation and evaluation of a photograph.

What kind of photography interests me?
I enjoy taking more abstract photos, but also some portraiture and still life. I enjoy these genres because i like capturing details of everyday or maybe unusual moments/objects in a interesting way to then create many meanings for the image for different people. I also like capturing the light as its a natural source that compliments any image in a different way and can experiment with ideas. Photography is just so different depending of the moment and situation and i enjoy portraying style through photography.
